Give a gift. Get a gift.

This holiday season we want to say thank you! When you donate to a student's education, we'll send you a gift! Help us keep 10 students in school by raising $1500 this holiday season!

Krobo Beads still play a very prevalent role in modern Ghanaian culture. Beads are used in ceremonies of birth, coming of age, marriage, or death and are generously displayed in festivals and parades. These beautiful beads are made from recycled glass bottles and other glass items. Krobo beads are generally made in the Eastern Region of Ghana more specifically Odumase-Krobo, where they get their name.

We discovered Krobo beads on our very first trip to Ghana. We knew that we had to bring this fine fashion back to our donors, so we went bead crazy on our most recent trip. We purchased a variety of bracelets and necklaces from local craftsmen and craftswomen.

Celebrate this holiday season with us through the power of giving. When you contribute $30 or more towards a child's education, be ready to accessorize yourself with a taste of Ghana.

Each piece comes in a gift box or bag, with a letter explaining that the donation helps keep a child in school. A Krobo bead jewelry item and a guaranteed education make wonderful holiday gifts!
